
Elena Bueno Gracia (co-PI)

Diploma in Physiotherapy from the University of Zaragoza (UZ) in 2004 and Master in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy (OMPT), which meets the standards of the IFOMPT (International Federation of Orthopaedic Manipulative Physical Therapists). Degree in Social and Cultural Anthropology from UNED and Doctorate “cum laude” from UZ in 2013 with a thesis entitled “Study on the validity of neurodynamic tests of the median nerve in the diagnosis of carpal tunnel syndrome”.
She has been an International Instructor in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy since 2006 and in Neurodynamics since 2008, giving specialist training both nationally and internationally.
She is currently a permanent lecturer at the UZ teaching assessment content in physiotherapy.
Her research interests lie in the study of the biomechanics and physiology of the peripheral nervous system and its involvement in the assessment and treatment of peripheral neuropathies.
